Connor has been at the helm of Roll Wi'It for almost 8 years and is hellbent on sharing his love with all things tabletop with whoever will listen. Never happier than when he's in charge of a table of delinquents, leading them through a TTRPG one shot, a game of Killteam or getting stuck into a boardgame. He's a veteran (forever) DM who is happy to have both experienced players and newcomers at his table.
Favourite boardgame: Scythe
Favourite TTRPG: SPIRE (Mothership is a close second)
Likes: Good Whisky, Solid Role players, Nat 1's and Gwent.
Dislikes: Cowardice, Cliquey-Ness, Eating his Veggies
Laura has also been here from the very start. Very much the friendly welcoming face of Roll Wi' It. Laura's DM style makes her the master of cozy vibes and adorable (if very chaotic) sessions. Favouring TTRPG systems like ROOT, Scurry and Honey Heist and euro style boardgames with a heavy nature/animal theme. Laura is the perfect DM for welcoming in new players or just running a cozy, relaxed (sometimes) evening and we all think she's the best!
Favourite TTRPG: ROOT
Favourite boardgame: Wingspan
Likes: Tormenting her cats, soft fabrics, dungarees and weird Danish liquorice
Dislikes: Mushrooms, mean people, jump scares and late stage capitalism
Our mate Greg first found us as a player where his, to be honest, utterly nuts play style made us instantly like him. Greg is a fantastically creative DM and excellent storyteller, more of a special quest DM that a constant fixture if you ever find yourself at Greg's table you are in for a treat. A murder mystery based on the lyrics of Mambo No.5? A showdown in a sentient house of mirrors? Anything is possible! For a table of the most structured, fantastical bullshit you could ever hope to play, you'll want to sit under Greg's steely gaze
Favourite TTRPG: Dungeons and Dragons
Favourite boardgame: Secret Hitler
Likes: Rugby, Wrestling, Horror Movies and starting land wars in Asia
Dislikes: People who are intolerant of other cultures and Vancouver, Canada (don't ask 😅)
Our mate Alan came to us as a player and quickly found himself part of the team. A dyed in the wool TTRPG player, Alan likes his RPG systems chunky! At Alan's table, you can expect to find loving crafted sessions and rich encounters' favouring systems like Call of Cthullu, Shadowrun and anything else an I death conspiracy can be cooked up in. Dark murder mystery deep in Cajun country? A high stakes Heist in a corporate villa abd everything in between. Also a dab hand at wargaming, a solid opponent and teacher of Killteam in particular. Check out Alan's table for some absolutely solid, indepth TRRPG goodness and you won't be disappointed!
Favourite TTRPG: Shadowrun
Favourite Boardgame: Smallworld/ Zombies!!!
Likes: Metal (the element), Metal (the music), asking players "Are you sure?", Sidekicks with low HP
Dislikes: That Guy, Boring Character Deaths, Forgetting what accent he's supposed to be doing and Sea Shanties
